Las c\u00e9lulas normales en el cuerpo crecen, se dividen, cumplen sus funciones y mueren. Las c\u00e9lulas anormales, a diferencia de las normales, contin\u00faan crecimiento de manera descontrolada. Una acumulaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas cancer\u00edgenas se conoce como tumor. Los<strong> tumores<\/strong> pueden causar <strong>lesiones en los diferentes tejidos<\/strong> del cuerpo y provocar que las personas se enfermen.<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>100 % de los diferentes tipos de c\u00e1ncer<\/strong> tiene una <strong>causa gen\u00e9tica<\/strong> y el<strong> 5 -10 %<\/strong> presentan un <strong>componente hereditario,<\/strong> es decir, aquella informaci\u00f3n contenida en los genes que se pasa de padres a hijos.
