To identify these causes and develop an efficient therapy, it is essential to isolate and identify the microorganisms, therefore, generally the results of these tests last three to five days. Subsequently, the corresponding sensitivity tests of the agents are carried out to verify the efficiency of the therapeutic agent.<\/p>\n<p>Among the samples that are analyzed in bacteriology are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Urine culture: urine sample<\/li>\n<li>Stool culture: stool sample<\/li>\n<li>Sample of tissue scrapings.<\/li>\n<li>Secretions: vaginal, urethral (penis), otic (ear), among others.<\/li>\n<li>Body fluids: peritoneal, articular, among others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Clinical Bacteriology section is responsible for the identification of infectious disease-causing bacteria through various procedures in addition to potentially effective therapeutic agents.
