In the Clinical Laboratory, blood tests are performed to determine the levels of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA or APE). An increase in the value in this test can indicate a problem at the level of the prostate that could even be cancer.

At Bioclinic Laboratory in Puerto Viejo, Limón we perform total PSA tests for prostate control. Our trained staff will take a blood sample to perform the laboratory test.

Fasting prior to sampling is not required.
